Whispering I Spy

Mackenzie embodies the word "bold" in all of her paintings. "Whispering I Spy" is a perfect example of her liberating way of painting. Her work often begins with splatter painting, a style of throwing and flicking paint onto the canvas, and she then brings out certain shapes and forms she sees in the spattering. She allows her artwork to develop organically and adapts as the piece comes to life. Finishing this painting with white outlines, she hides little smiley faces in each corner of the canvas.
