Fruits that Illuminate the Human Condition, Framed

There's a quote in everybody loves Raymond where he describes his newspaper article as "illuminating the human condition" and I took inspiration from that for my title because I thought it was funny. I blended light and dark colors to create a dramatic effect with the lighting on the fruits. I wanted to make it as realistic as possible, and make them come off the page. I surprised myself with the end result of the painting.
