Nick Gammicchia finds inspiration in the stories of celebrities and the cartoon world. Using an animated illustration style Nick melds his own narratives into those of popular culture. Cartooning as a mode of storytelling allows Nick to explore and define his own narratives, sometimes comical and sometimes strange. He also enjoys making portraits of famous individuals from the professions he enjoys, such as artists and athletes. Nick was an artist at Soul Studio from 2016 to 2018.
